Henry is 1 !!!

We have had a very busy couple weeks as you can see below....and Henry turned 1! Julie, Oma and Opa organized a special lunch at Cozymel's Mexican restaurant (Henry loves Mexican food. No Anna, nothing spicy.) with a "cars" theme of course. Thanks!

Betsy and Tony are finally home!!! This is my friend Betsy whose baby was in Orphanage 3 with Henry and who was supposed to travel with us in November. She finally got her approval to travel mid-March and had lay-overs in LAX in both directions so we could meet. We thought the boys might remember each other since they were in the same small baby room but as you can see....no. Oh well, Bets and her dad and I had fun!

Monique visited from London...Henry loved her and her ice cream!

Cousin Spencer visited from Washington DC...he is our hero. He helped get Henry home!!!

Jennifer escaped from Ottawa to spend the day with us at the Grove...Henry kept looking at her like she talked funny...she does, eh.

And just a typical moment in Henry's day....he loves to eat and is so happy when he is feeding himself like a very big boy. He's 1...not a baby anymore!

Henry is busy making music all day long!

Here he is at his new music table (thanks Galit!) and sitting in his newly painted wooden chair (thanks Oma and Opa for finding my special chair and fixing it up for Henry!! My Grandpa Jones made these chairs for Janna and Julie and I when we were babies and Henry loves it as much as we all did!) He is very sleepy below and trying to avoid his morning nap...

When he's not playing...he's eating. Delicious!

Henry's biggest accomplishment in the past couple days was taking a bath without panic or tears - he now LOVES to splash and laughs with sheer joy with his deep belly laugh at the fun. Because this was achieved with mama also in the tub, there will be no photo coverage. Instead, you can see another "first" - Henry's first time swinging!! :) jjx
